How to use this site

This section gives step by step instructions for various features on the site.

How to find a programme

Anyone can search for and listen to any programme in our audio database. However to download programmes so that you can broadcast them yourselves, you have to be a member.

There are 3 ways to find a programme:

  1. Use the search facility
  2. Browse the latest programmes
  3. Browse audio picks

How to listen to a programme

You do not need to be a member of OneWorld Radio to listen to a programme on the database. But you must have software which can play RealAudio files, installed on your computer, such as RealOne Player or Windows Media Player.


How to download a programme

To download a programme, find the required programme. Then:

  1. Click on the sample rate of the audio file, which is shown under the header Download:, together with the format, which is always Real Media (for example, 48 kbps Real Media, 96 kbps Real Media).
  2. Type in a description of how you intend to use the programme.
  3. Click on Save
  4. Click on Download File
  5. Select the location on your computer where you want to save the file.
  6. Click on Save.
